Slavery Statement

We at Hygenius (WorkSpace Design Global Ltd) will not tolerate any form of modern slavery or human trafficking, whether this be servitude, forced or compulsory labour or trafficking itself. We will ensure we work only with partners and suppliers who uphold the obligations of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and expect our suppliers to ensure these standards are upheld within their own supply chains.

We accept we have a responsibility to undertake due diligence to ensure people are not being exploited and that they are supported with appropriate Health and Safety, Human Rights and Employment laws.

Our Partners will hold overall responsibility for ensuring Hygenius meets all the legal and ethical obligations, and our Accreditation and Procurement departments will undertake the day to day functions to ensure we are working against modern slavery. Any allegation raised will be investigated and appropriate steps taken to ensure we do not support modern slavery and help to mitigate its existence.

Raising instances where modern slavery might exist is the responsibility of anyone working in any capacity for Hygenius. If you believe you are aware of an instance of modern slavery immediately notify the accreditation department and your line manager, we actively encourage you to raise concerns or suspicions. We will support anyone raising genuine concerns regardless of outcome and will not victimise or detrimentally treat anyone who raises concerns in good faith.

Help on Modern Slavery is available on the Modern Slavery Helpline 0800 0121 700.

Any breaches of this policy could result in disciplinary actions or terminations of commercial relationships. This policy will be regularly reviewed and updated to take into account any organisational factors or changes whether from external or internal priorities or changes.
