As Scotland’s first net-zero hospital, the Balfour is making a positive impact on the environment. The materials and built form of the building and surrounding landscape, are simple, robust, easily sourced and maintained; all reflecting Orkney’s heritage and ecology.
“Workspace were lovely to work with and made sure they listened to our requirements so that the designs were absolutely spot on!”Rhonda Walker, Project Lead – NHS Orknkey
